• TVET Experience in 2009-2011 as a Technical Expert & Master Trainer in Building Construction, an Infrastructural Planning & Development Expert; also as an Associate Project Team Leader for the Singapore Corporation Enterprise (SCE) & the Workforce Development Authority (WDA) of Rwanda, and as a Consultant advising DACUM founded Competency-based Demand-driven Curriculum Development, Implementation, Examination & Certification with guidance on the TVET Qualification Framework, Quality Assurance and Accreditation and Training of Trainers; and design support for & coordination of WDA inputs into the World Bank funded Skills Development Project.  
• Expatriate University administration experience in 2007-2009 as Acting Vice Rector Academics (Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics), and as an Associate Professor of Architecture & Planning – guiding learning, research & quality assurance, while setting up the Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design (FAED) at the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
• Local University Experience in 1992-2006 as a Head of department, Examinations officer, Convener research & syllabus committee, Year Master and Course Tutor in Theory subjects and portfolio and also as a supervisor and examiner for undergraduate and postgraduates in the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Set up the School of Architecture and Building Sciences (SABS)  at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and also started its first Master of Science in Urban Design.

• All learning Modules in the Master of Urban Design at the Department of Architecture, School of Architecture and Building Sciences (SABS), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Juja, Kenya. These include, theory and principals of urban design I & II, physical planning, urban design I & II, environmental planning and research methodology. This is a programme designed for architects, urban designers urban and regional planners and landscape architects who desire to consolidate their theoretical knowledge in the Urban Design discipline with their practical application in the field. Most projects carried out during this period involved a lot of site measurements of existing buildings and specification matching with works already implemented.  The schemes would by and large be awarded to up-coming contractors, who due to their lack of exposure demanded much supervision.  Site visits were definitely once or twice per week.  In literary all situations site visits would be lengthy, focusing on detail, to guarantee effective interpretation by staff on site.

Schemes 5, 7, and 10, were constructed under my direct supervision either on labour contracts or on complete contract tender basis.  The rest of the projects have either been implemented by the clients independently or have been left at a design stage.  In all instances all these schemes were prepared and compiled to include working drawings, bills of quantities, specifications and general cost estimates.  This entailed consultation with other professionals especially quantity surveyors and structural engineers.
