Dr. M. K. Jain is holding the position of a full Professor of Business Admin, Department of Business Admin, School of Business, Kenyatta University, Nairobi (Kenya) w.e.f October 6, 2014. Before his present assignment, he has been a Senior Professor of Management & Director, Institute of Management Studies, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

He performed academic and administrative functions for around 33 years in different Universities as a Chairman, Director & Dean. He has also been a Registrar, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He has also served as a Professor of Business Admin, Department of Business Admin., Kenyatta University, Nairobi (Kenya) in the year 2001 and 2002. He has been a founder Director of, Institute of Open, Distance and e-Learning, Kenyatta University, Nairobi to spread the higher education in Africa with a vision and mission “Education for All”. His experiences as an Administrator, researcher and management consultant span over 33 years in Business Administration.
He received Master’s Degree from Kurukshetra University in 1977, Master of Philosophy in 1981, Doctorate of Philosophy in Management in 1984 and Master’s of Laws (LLM) in 2005 from Kurukshetra University,

Kurukshetra. He has been a research supervisor for a number of Ph.D scholars who are holding a very senior position in India. One of his student Justice Bharat Bhushan Parsoon is holding the position of a senior Judge in Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and another one Dr. Mahavir Singh IAS (Indian Administrative Services) is holding the position of Financial Commissioner & Secretary, Government of Haryana, Chandigarh. He has also authored several research papers and case studies.

His professional activities include: participation in numerous national and international seminars, conferences and workshops; lectures at educational and professional organizations in India and abroad ; research and training in industrial and other organizations ; subject specialist in selection committees for varied settings including professional bodies, Central and State Government departments and universities; and membership with several academic and professional institutions. He has also served as a part-time Director in Ministry of Telecommunication, New Delhi.

He has widely traveled abroad including the Nairobi (Kenya), Uganda, Dubai, Sarjhan & Ajman on professional assignments. He has achieved several international awards and honours including International Man of the Year, by Mecrera University, Uganda. His name also appears in varied international biographies, published by ABI, North Carolina, USA.
